DON’T HURRY BE HAPPY is a kind of investigation into the simple, universal facts of life which can help make us happier, the kind of things that we are sometimes in too much of a rush to notice or even remember. It really bubbles down to ways of connecting - with yourself, the world and other humoids.
IN THE BEGINNING…
…there was a company called FREITAG [from Switzerland who make bags and other things from recycled materials]. For their 25th anniversary they created a new role with a bold objective - to try and make the world a happier place!!
A Britsh guy called Allan became their ‘Executive Vice Pleasident for Global Happiness’ and devised a global movement called DON’T HURRY BE HAPPY. And so it began…

Meet Daniel.
Daniel is one of those guys who can do anything - he’s been a Science teacher, a fire eater, a mime artist and a technician for those vertical gardens. He is from a far away place called Canada and is our communications guru.

Former car designer turned nomadic artist/photographer. He was once Freitag’s ‘Executive Vice Pleasident for Global Happiness’, a fish in a past life and will be steering the good ship DontHurry along this voyage - AHOY!

Doodle master who lives on a long boat with his family in England. Gordo is already a Jedi in the art of slowing down and is one of our DontHurry illustrators boiling his noodles into doodles. Three cheers for Gordo!

Polish filmmaker, editor and founding member of SIANO skate crew. He is the in-house film maker and if necessary - stunt man. He’s a badass dancer and what else - Oh yea.. he’s got a thing for reptiles.

Jerry is a sloth. He is our mascot and has got his shit together.
Susan is a contemporary jazz artist. She comes from the Galapagos islands and not only gives us beautiful music, but is a fantastic listener.
